Overview
The UCSF Police Department offers a Ride-Along program for individuals actively interested in pursuing a career with UCSF Police, including prospective applicants and qualified UCSF affiliates. This program provides participants with the opportunity to observe UCSF Police Officers during patrol operations and gain a better understanding of law enforcement within a university and medical campus environment. Ride Alongs are intended to support recruitment efforts, promote transparency, and provide meaningful insight into the role of a UCSF Police Officer. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and observe officers as they perform their duties.
