The Police Community Advisory Board (PCAB) was established for the UCSF Police Department in 2018 and is intended to facilitate and enhance communication between the UCSF community and UCSF Police Department.
It allows non-law enforcement and broader community views to influence local law enforcement service decisions on a regular basis. The PCAB will review and make recommendations to the Chief of Police on police matters, significant community issues, budgeting, program review and community outreach assistance. Board Members comprise a diverse group of individuals representing all stakeholders in the UCSF community.
