The Security Services Division provides on-site security protection services at designated sites, manages the We ID and LiveScan (fingerprinting and security clearances) programs, provides notary services, conducts security surveys and assessments of campus facilities, and troubleshoots security issues. In addition to screening visitors, staff and UCSF affiliates entering UCSF premises at five major sites, security personnel monitor video camera systems, provide building lockout services, and safety escorts to many members of the campus community. Safety escort service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
