Campus security is largely dependent upon our collective ability to ensure that only authorized individuals are issued a UCSF ID card and to control who gets access to UCSF premises.

The UCSF Police Department, in conjunction with Facilities Management, launched a project to give departments and the Medical Center more control in matters relating to identity management and access. Decentralized Identity Management & Access (DIMAC) provides the online capability to request issuance of UCSF ID cards and specify which UCSF facilities the card holder can access, and when.
