Robbery in Moffitt Hospital Suspect: The suspects are described as follows: 1) African-American Male, 5’ 7, medium build, short curly hair, and clean-shaven. 2) African-American Male, 5’ 10, medium build. Narrative: At about 1:45 AM on January 27, 2002, an employee was robbed while purchasing a soda from the vending machines in M 281. Two male suspects approached the victim and demanded his wallet; one of the suspects (described as # 2 above) was holding an ice pick. After getting the wallet the suspects removed cash and credit cards from the wallet and left the area. The victim went home. The Police Department did not receive information about this crime until 3:40 AM. It is important that incidents of this type be reported immediately to the police.
